If I have to do this for a year I am going to go insane.

Lydia and I have a puppy and a kitten. Partially because it's a really bad idea to get me near a petshop that has a solitary cat, I always feel sorry for them.

(Yes, I have emotions. Shut up.)

Things have become unexpectedly complicated. And yet today still stands out, in its own little way. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, though, it's been this way for six years. It's not the most important date, not by half, but it's one I remember.

She disappeared afterwards. I tried to track her down once I was well, but she was very good at covering her tracks. I wonder what happened to her sometimes.

I have to get back to work soon.
